The Gospel and Personal Evangelism, New edition – Mark Dever
This August and September, our church family at Tabernacle Baptist will be walking together through The Gospel and Personal Evangelism by Mark Dever. We’ll take it one chapter each week.
Why this book? Because evangelism is not just a program of the church, it’s the mission of the church. Too often we allow fear, apathy, or misunderstanding to keep us from sharing the best news in the world. Dever helps us cut through excuses, define the gospel clearly, and embrace the privilege of telling others about Jesus.
By the end of these two months, our aim is simple:
- To be more confident in what the gospel is.
- To be more faithful in proclaiming it.
- To be more prayerful and intentional about reaching those God has placed around us.
I invite you to join us each week as we learn, grow, and encourage one another to obey Christ’s call: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19).
Let’s commit to reading together, talking together, and most importantly—sharing the gospel together.
